Why do you want to stand for the position?
I have thoroughly enjoyed holding the position this year, and have worked hard to achieve what I have achieved in the role so far, and would like to have the chance to maintain and develop some of the changes that have been implemented. Read the rest of this entry »

Sports studies student Adam Slaughter is first up in our interviews with the candidates running to be Activities and Participation officer. Interview by Dejla Kadhim.
Why do you want to stand for the position?
Well, I’ve been in sport all my life and activities of all things, so I’ve seen students get involved in lots of different activities, but I’ve also seen people not get involved and I think there’s a definite area of students that we can target and try to get them involved in the activities that the university has to offer and hopefully create some more innovative, new events that people can get involved in.
